A Window of Hope Counseling Center is owned and operated by Harold W. Anderson, Ph.D. Starting as a private practice, the Center now includes Melissa Bowman and others who are working on their internships. Services include family therapy, couples therapy, and individual therapy for all age groups. We understand that the lives of people are grounded in culture, ethnicity, sexuality and diversity, which can provide stability and direction. We think therapy must account for this diversity while offering solutions to the challenges and barriers life inevitably brings.
Harold has a varied background that includes teaching undergraduates and graduate students in the areas of theology, philosophy, critical theory and marriage and family therapy. He has worked as a therapist since 2005. Before that he not only taught but was a United Methodist minister for 23 years.
Melissa graduated with her MA in Mental Health Counseling from the Colorado Christian University in 2019. She is a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate and will receive full licensure once she has completed 2000 hours of supervised work. She is interested in working with children, youth and adults in areas of trauma, depression, anxiety and ADHD.
