Following my fight with COVID-19, I have made the difficult decision to close my physical office space and am seeing clients only via video conferencing. While many may think face-to-face therapy is better than video-conferencing, I would be hard press to argue the point. But the risk of exposure to COVID is too great especially with the variant strains becoming an issue in Colorado. A second bout with COVID-19 could easily kill me and I do not think it worth the risk. Therefore, I have decided to close my office and work via the Internet. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
NOTE: For optimal performance, the bandwidth used by Zoom will be optimized for the best experience based on the participants’ network. It will automatically adjust for 3G, WiFi or Wired environments. Recommended bandwidth for Meetings and Webinar Panelists: For 1:1 video calling: 600kbps (up/down) for high quality video. According to the Zoom website, however, states that for higher definition video, 720p requires 1.2 Mbps up/down and 1080p HD requires 2.5 mbps up/down.
